It has no other marks, but the band tested 14K gold with a brass bird and branch and a 3mm amethyst. The only maker with S&W I could find was Sy and Wagner of Berlin, from the late 1800's. I would really like to know what some of you jewelry buffs think. Do I have a treasure here?

There have been thousands of maker’s marks, so if you need to know who the maker is, it will take some research to discover this. I’ve also seen questions like what does 14k GP mean? There are only 3 Mark’s on it. One mark looks like an ‘R’ with the right and left bottom of it scrolling. Nie if you turn it in the same direction as the word sterling then it looks like a ‘Y’ with both left and right being cursive.
