Jan 08, 2020 · I am very disappointed with this last batch of water clear Alumilite I received. The first time I used this stuff, it worked great. When I casted in a shallow mould, on this batch, it stayed rubbery. In another casting, it foamed up like lather. I'm almost afraid to order it again.3.2/5

Dec 18, 2012 · The Amazing Clear Cast Resin is a great product and an extreme value. I mixed up 2 oz of the original mixture. This was enough for the first pour on all my castings plus the clear coat on all of the bottle cap checkers. A 16 oz kit sells for $20 and will make many, many small projects.

Alumilite Clear is a crystal clear resin that is easy to use and great for a wide variety of clear casting applications. Its low viscosity and 1:1 mix ratio by weight makes it extremely easy to use. Vacuum or pressure is recommended to achieve 100% bubble free castings but minimal bubbles can be achieved by slowly mixing and pouring the resin.

May 08, 2020 · You will need a strong resin that will be somewhat impact resistant. I would suggest either the Resin Obsession super clear epoxy resin or the Alumilite Amazing casting polyurethane resin. As long as the mold for your case was produced with a shiny template, your casting should come out shiny as well.
