Jul 20, 2010 · Annealing is a neccesity when making a wildcat if you want your brass to last more than 2 firings. I started annealing when making 7mm BR out of.308 and 6.5-06 out of once fired 30-06. If I did not anneal the necks they would not last more than a couple of firings.
