Jun 05, 2013 · The hospital I do clinical at am not sure the exact rules, but a lot of the nurses wear all kinds of jewelry. I guess I probably depends on the hospital, but I personally don't plan on wearing jewelry. You could get patients that would grab your necklace. I don't want to risk taking stuff home to my family or my own safety.

Jan 26, 2017 · I'm an occupational therapist and work at hospitals - we all wear our rings, and most nurses I see wear theirs. I've never seen anyone wearing a silicone or similar ring at work. (I became a stalker of wedding/engagement rings when I first got engaged and would be working... I felt like I was going to damage it or ruin something by wearing it.)

During my clinical, it is mandatory to wear a watch, which makes it easier for me to hide my tattoo.
