David Milne was born in Edinburgh in 1976. Educated at the London School of Economics and Cambridge, he is currently Senior Lecturer in Modern History at the University of East Anglia. He previously taught at the LSE, Cambridge, and Nottingham, and has held fellowships at Yale University and the American Philosophical Society in Philadelphia.
