Rated Located a little further into the Jewelery Quarter than most will venture, Drop Forge is definitely worth hunting out (or go to JQ by train, its virtually opposite the station!) The menu doesn't change much but what is on offer has always been excellent. Steaks are great and the meat platter delicious.3.4/5(7)

A selection of original drop forge machinery has been retained behind a screen. An unusual patio and smoking area is situated on the first floor level and a meeting room is available for hire. Beer range varies with four always available. Good food is served midday-9pm Mon-Sat and midday-4pm Sun. Directly opposite the Jewellery Quarter Station.
