Focus is still very good for greatsword. Sometimes it is hard to find a true charged attack timing in MP where the monster runs everywhere to chase 4 players. In this case you would settle for a charged slash. Granted, i think focus has to be lvl 3 or none at all. Lvl 3 focus shortens 20% charge time whereas lvl 2 is 10%. 20% is huge, 10% not so.
