Dec 10, 2015 · Bonded gold means a thin layer of gold is applied over the silver. I don't know if it's thicker than typical gold plating, but it's certainly not solid gold. David Yurman needs to do a better job labeling their products. I find the lack of transparency about which products have the bonded pieces and which have solid pieces rather deceptive.
