G. & J. Kellett manufacturing jewellers, Goldsmiths and Platinumsmiths was established as a family business by Graeme in 1964 in Melbourne. Now in 2020 the business is in its 56th year. The business name changed to Kellett Master Jewellers to include his daughter Sarah as a second generation hand jewellery maker and designer.

My biggest mentor was my father Graeme Kellett, I have learnt everything from and through him. Before deciding to become a professional jeweller I studied textiles, completing an Advanced Certificate in Studio Textiles, then embarking on a Bachelor of Education in Visual Arts, at Melbourne University, where I concentrated on the artistic disciplines of printmaking and metalwork.
