Mar 26, 2015 · Making landfall on Jewell. There are many campsites on Jewell. Each campsite has a fire ring, water bucket, and often some tinder. My favorite is the one atop the grassy hill near the big oak tree. During the summer months, an island caretaker lives in the shack on Little Jewell Island (just west of Cocktail Cove).
