The Jewell Trail is around 3.7 miles in length, where it reaches the Gulfside Trail at 5,400'. The trail itself is not very difficult or steep, and is one of the least rocky trails on the mountain. The hike in the woods is fairly uneventful, however the scenery is very nice.72%(2)

We went up Ammonoosuc Ravine Trail and then took the Jewell Trail down. From the summit we took the Gulfside Trail to pick up Jewell. The Jewell Trail was challenging on the rocky top, but easier below tree line. The clouds parted, giving us gorgeous views before we submerged into the forest. Below tree line the trail became lush and leafy green.4.5/5(6)
