I've been farming MR tempered investigations through SOS and they drop pretty good stuff. I had 300 hours before iceborne and no expert jewel or critical boost jewel, but gotten 2 expert and 1 boost from this farm.

Apr 16, 2020 · I don't even have one of these jewels and I'm almost 200 hours into MHW. It's really limiting my build options. I'm on PC and the only options I can think of is Steamworks for silver tickets (I can try to save scum until I get 10 tickets and pray), Greatest Jagras event and Tempered Zinogre event (I can live with a critical vitality jewel 4 but critical jewel 2 can drop too).

I tried farming Great Jagras which is not hard but the chances are ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up lol. Gonna try guilding lands farming method for steamworks. I just want to do the most potential highest dmg on any of the weapons but I can't if I don't have 3 Critical Jewel level 2 lol. Do the event "The name's lavasioth!"
