The gold and silver is of a higher quality here in Side than it is in UK and - as you say - much cheaper. There are lots and lots of jewellery stores - you will be spoilt for choice - or go on a day trip to Antalya for just 15 TL and that includes a stop at a huge jewellery factory where you can have things made to your own designs and they drop off at your hotel later.
