The Presto torch gives a greater area of heat but is slower to come up to heat. All a matter of discovering preference. I have no trouble with melts of 1.5 oz with the Little Torch.

Air acetylene is great for soldering and brazing; and sits at the same bench. Oxy acetylene is better for high silver brazing. The air acetylene just doesn't put out enough heat in my experience for either quick work or larger parts.
