Coat your quilled jewellery with lacquer and allow it to dry in open place for a day. While coating try to do it in a ventilated area, sometimes the smell of the lacquer will suffocates. (Try Camilin Picture Varnish /Asian paints synthetic clear varnish(not good for white & light colours) too - almost same results)

All of my quilling has been hand painted with several layers of special paper sealants. The sealant soaks into the paper, making it stiff, sturdy, and suitable for everyday wear. The sealant I use also makes my work water resistant and UV resistant. It will not fade over time and can simply be wiped off with a cloth if it gets a little wet.
