Nov 08, 2012 · There are no tricks to soldering copper tape. I do it all the time using a soldering iron and 60/40 rosin core solder. Copper tape is so thermally conductive that one would have a hard time getting enough heat to the adhesive side to damage it. Best thing to do is just try soldering a sample piece. I have never had problems with damaging the adhesive.
