I have done research on a couple of sites, and found this information: Uncas Manufacturing Co. 1911 - present Mark: Sorrento founded in 1911 by Vincent Sorrentino (1892 - 1976) in Providence RI under his own name. It became UNCAS Manufacturing Co. before 1922.
